For musicians: The Talisman Sound Open Mic is where bands and solo artists of different styles can come and showcase their work to an open minded and enthusiastic crowd! What to do: * Book a slot at "contact us" on the www.talismansounds.com website * or email talismansounds@yahoo.co.uk * or turn up on the night * Bring your instrument or use ours * Plug in to the PA * Play for up to 15mins depending on number of musicians * Practice for an up and coming gig * or try out some new songs * or plug your new Demo/Album * Advertise your up and coming gigs * Pose for your Talisman Sounds website photo * Special song prize each night | For Audience The Talisman Open Mic is a friendly welcoming gig for new or established musicians who like to play their music to an open minded and enthusiastic crowd! What to do: * Turn up from 8.30 on the last Monday of each month * Make your selection from the excellent range of refreshments * Choose a seat or suitable place to lean or pose * Enjoy the excellent and diverse musical offerings * Attempt to spot the future stars sprinkled amongst the performers * Show your enthusiasm by clapping, whooping (and kissing) the musicians * Tell your friends and colleagues about the great night you experienced |
